Welcome to the EShareCast application (the "Application"), developed by EShare Technology Co., Ltd.("EShare," "we," "us," or "our"). We are the data controller for the personal data processed in connection with your use of this Application.

USB Device Data	Data read from/written to connected USB presentation dongles (e.g., USB-A, USB-C). Application List	List of installed applications on the receiver device. We do not collect special categories of personal data (as defined by GDPR, e.g., health, racial or ethnic origin) unless explicitly provided by you with your consent for a specific purpose, which we would clearly communicate.

3. How We Use Your Information

Beyond the specific purposes linked to data categories above, we use your information to:

• Provide and Maintain the Application: Deliver the core functionalities and ensure its ongoing operation. (Legal Basis: Performance of a contract)
• Manage User Requests and Provide Support: Respond to your inquiries and troubleshoot issues. (Legal Basis: Performance of a contract; Legitimate interests)

4. Permissions and Their Usage

The Application requests permissions to access certain device features. These permissions are necessary for the Application to function as intended, based on the legal bases outlined above. You can typically manage these permissions through your device's settings. Denying a permission may limit or disable certain Application functionalities.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share your personal data in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers (Data Processors): We may share your data with trusted third-party companies and individuals who perform services on our behalf (e.g., cloud hosting for potential future features, analytics providers, crash reporting services). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data, use it solely for the purposes for which we disclose it to them, and process it in accordance with our instructions and applicable law.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:
  • Comply with a legal obligation or a valid legal process (e.g., a subpoena or court order).
  • Protect and defend the rights or property of EShare.
  • Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Application.

• The right to withdraw consent: If we are processing your personal data based on your consent (which is rare for this Application, primarily operating on Performance of Contract and Legitimate Interest), you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
• The right not to be subject to automated decision-making: You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you. We currently do not engage in such automated decision-making.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that our processing of your personal data infringes applicable data protection laws. However, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data transmitted to or from the Application.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our Application is not directed to children under the age of 16 (or a lower age if stipulated by member state law in the EU for consent purposes, but not below 13). We do not knowingly collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from children under this age. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under the relevant age without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to promptly delete such information from our records.
